Genevieve and Bonnie fell in love at first sight (literally) at a cabaret show back in 2016, and anyone who’s met them will tell you they have electricity and energy between them that feels almost palpable. Even Bonnie’s ex-wife knew Genevieve and Bonnie were meant to be together the first time she and Genevieve met.

These two are full of life and are passionate about the people they love (including each other), which you can easily see in the photos below. As part of their wedding ceremony, they passed their rings to each person in attendance to be held and blessed with “good marriage juju”. They also asked everyone to participate in a short guided meditation to help them arrive to the ceremony. Guests were asked to visualize their love for the couple and the love Genevieve and Bonnie have for each other and send it out toward them before making this commitment. Their day was, to quote Jenny’s reading at the ceremony, “Full on, no stop - joy. Just joy.”

The abundance of color scattered around their wedding suited Genevieve and Bonnie’s bright personalities and zest for life. Their wedding took place on a perfectly clear Fall day at The Oceanview in Santa Cruz, California. The effortlessly cool and cozy house was the perfect place for such a fun and intimate event, and it was made even more festive thanks to florals by Stripe Design Services, rentals by Alexis Party Rentals, tacos by My Mom’s Mole, and the work of many more vendors listed at the end of this post.
